Hotel Front Desk Agent

•             Performing all check-in and check-out tasks

•             Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and


•             Managing online and phone reservations

•             Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner

•             Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy

and fully-furnished

•             Update all information regarding groups reservations, meeting

rooms rentals request

•             Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate

•             Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

•             Strictly respect the checklists of their shifts

•             Constantly monitor customer reviews and organize answers online

•             Collaborate with the maintenance department to update all the

interventions carried out and those necessary

•             Organize and coordinate restaurant reservations

•             Update daily the reports requested by the management to monitor

upselling activities, parking sales, dinner sales, walk-in entrances, etc.

Requirements and skills

•             Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent or Receptionist

•             Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like

Booking, Expedia, hotel.com, etc

•             Customer service attitude

•             Excellent communication and organizational skills

•             Knowledge of the reception management system: OPERA is a plus
